November - preparations for winter will start
It's almost time to start thinking about the Christmas already, start planning the menu and setting some dates. Pay attention that the Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce's Christmas celebration will take place on Friday, December 10th at 5pm. The other chambers' christmas events are listed in the end of our newsletter. Pay attention that you wouldn't double-book yourself.
Yet, before Christmas we shall have the opportunity to congratulate the Danish Cultural Institute for its 20th anniversary in Estonia, meet with the Estonian Ambassador in Copenhagen and and visit Estonian Expo Center and find out about how to get business leads via them, and meet some new contacts amongst local Dutch, Norwegians and Spanish people.

"J-day" as always the first Friday of November is this week, on November 5th. It is an annual day of celebration all over Denmark as the the special Christmas beer shall be released for sale.  You have now a very special possibility to order the beer to Estonia. Minimum quantity is one case of beer i.e 24 cans. What do you mean "branding estonia"? What is behind it and who is behind the idea? On this very special after business hours meeting, we shall meet with a Danish businessman, a long-time entrepreneur Mr Jan Vistisen who has kindly promised to tell about himself - his past experience in different countries including Estonia, and about his current project "Estonian Expo Center".
Our host shall treat us with drinks and snacks, live music and plenty of time to mingle - to meet people, and establish new contacts.
The Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce has kindly invited members of the Holland Business Club, the Norwegian-Estonian Chamber of Commerce and the Spanish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce to join us at this event.

The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established an Academy of Export through which they organize seminars and discussions in the format of a club to coach entrepreneurs to compete on the global market. Next seminar already on Oct 11th by Magnus Westerberg. Many seminars are taking place in English. November 7th The British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the annual Guy Fawkes Night at restaurant-lounge P�rl, Pirita beach, Meriv�lja tee 5. The event starts at 4pm. Registration needed.
November 5th
Congratulations! Danish Cultural Insitute celebrates its' 20th anniversary with a book presentation at the National Library. "Kilde Taani suhetest Eestiga / Danish-Estonian Relations" is a book published in Estonian and for Estonian readers, compiled by Silvi Teesalu and published by the Danish Cultural Institute. The book presentation and a venue for the anniversary will take place at National Library on November 5th at 15:00. Registration needed at juubel20@dankultur.ee More information www.dankultur.ee
November 11th
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a morning-coffee event with the Estonian Ambassador at Copenhagen, H.E. Meelike Palli on Thursday, November 11th from 9:00-10:30 at their premises (Toom-Kooli 17). Topics are related to cooperation between Estonia and Denmark, about the embassy's possibilities to assist Estonian companies, communication and cultural differences in Denmark. Event is in Estonian. Cost 150 EEK. Registration open till November 9th. Please register here.
November 17th
The Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Tallinn is inviting to a seminar "Green Marketing - Sustainable Asset" in partnership with the Danish Embassy, Nordic Ecolabelling, and an Estonian non-profit organization �komeedia. It is about the success stories and features of green marketing. The keynote speaker is John Grant from the UK. The event will take place at Rotermanni Quarter's Brown House's ground floor. Dec 9 - the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia is celebrating the annual Christmas party at Meriton Grand hotel's Piano Bar (Paldiski mnt 4). Dec 10 - the Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the annual Christmas party starting at 5pm. More info coming up.
