Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce
a non-profit organization established in 2007. The purpose of the organization is to support economic relations between Denmark and Estonia, facilitate networking and keep the members up to date with relevant news.

Business and pleasure in October
This Friday we shall have an excellent opportunity for networking, make new connections at the Nordic Open 2010 conference with approx 150 participants from different companies in different fields. Safe driving training
Date/Place: October 15, 16:30-19:30, M�nniku
Already next week, the weather forecast expects sloppy weather. Why don't we all polish our skills with the expert trainers of slippery road driving, and take part of a competition for - "The Skilled Winter Driver". Program involves theory and practical driving on Autos�it O� cars. Bring along driving license, warm clothes. Participation: 500.- EEK includes cars, instructors, sandwiches, tea/coffee. Registration open till Monday, Oct 11th at info@decc.ee. No show-fee/cancellation after Oct 11th 500 EEK.

"Mediterranean and Nordic Treats for Friends"
Date/Place: October 24th, 16:00-19:00, restaurant Olematu R��tel (Toompea)
You enjoy hosting friends and drinking wine? This is something for you. We have agreed with Anton Rostovtsev, the chef of restaurant Olematu R��tel that he will introduce us to easy, but extraordinary treats that can be made quickly and set elegantly for an evening after work when friends are coming over. News on the Baltics in English - meet people behind Bonnier Business Press

How are the news on Baltics made? Who makes the news? How to get to the news? What is behind BBN? What is news2biz? Those questions and more will be answered on Monday, Oct 25th after business hours at our member company Bonnier Business Press. Our hosts will be Meelis Mandel ( �rip�ev), Priit H�bem�gi ( BBN), and Kertu Ruus ( news2biz). You are welcome to ask all your questions. In case you will not be able to participate yourself, please send in your questions and I will ask them for you.

The Royal Danish Embassy in Tallinn announces that the commercial department in the embassy has been closed due to reorganization. The closest commercial counsellor will reside in Finland. Therefor the embassy in Tallinn will no longer be able to assist Danish companies with traditional services offered so far. Though the embassy refers to local trustworthy companies. Any company wishing to be listed at the Danish Embassy for offering their services, please contact the embassy.
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established an Academy of Export through which they organize seminars and discussions in the format of a club to coach entrepreneurs to compete on the global market. Next seminar already on Oct 11th by Magnus Westerberg. Many seminars are taking place in English. Read more about the program here.

The Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Tallinn invites to a conference "Inspired by Ingredients" dedicated to the use of local raw ingredients while making food. Welcoming notes by the Danish Ambassador, H.E. Uffe A. Balslev. More info and registrations from Norden.

The American, German and Swedish Chambers of Commerce in Estonia are inviting to a joint half a day conference "Investors' Summit 2010" taking place at Radisson Blu Hotel, to discuss issues relevant to investors' operations in Estonia. Please read more from here. |
