February - time to celebrate Estonian Independence Anniversary
As the first month of the year has passed, we are getting to February. It is the month Estonians call the Month of Cold. February has lots to celebrate: Estonians celebrate the Shrove Tuesday on Feb 16th, Lithuanians celebrate their Independence Day on Feb 16th, the Americans celebrate Valentine's Day, and last but not least the Estonian Indepence Day needs to be celebrated on Feb 24th. A lot to keep in mind...
The Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce invites you to a number of events and also introduces you our new project we have started with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia - "Focus" magazine. The magazine has been published since 2007 and has an audience of 600 business contacts as of this year. Read more below.

Nordic Chambers' Reception "Nordic with a twist!"
Date/ Place: Feb 15th, 16:00-18:00, Lai 29, Tallinn
The nordic chambers Finnish, Swedish and Danish are together with the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Estonia, welcoming you to a reception organized to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of Estonian Independence Day.
Speakers:
* Carita Petterson, head of Nordic Ministers' Council in Estonia;
* Marina Kaljurand, Undersecretary of Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation in the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, previous Estonian ambassador to Russia;
* Martin Breuer, Chairman of the Foreign Investors' Council in Estonia.
Speeches are followed by ample variety of traditional snacks and drinks inspired by menus from the presidental receptions. Download invite from here.

FOCUS magazine in 2010
Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce has of this year joined forces with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia to publish a magazine called FOCUS, which concentrates on business, legal, political news on Baltic countries and Scandinavia, but also more importantly is a voice of our chamber members. FOCUS has been published since 2007. View previous issues from here.
Now there's a possibility for the members of the Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce to publish their news, commercial ads and announcements, articles of profound interest. Please contact info@decc.ee for more information and for booking magazine space for your company. |
