decc_managerA new year has started - 2010!

Have you noticed that the new year has actually started? Not that much has changed - it is still snowy and cold outside. However, the days are becoming longer and lighter, which means there's more time to fill every day. Hence  the chamber is here to help you fullfill the days, meet new people, make new contacts, develop your business and enjoy every moment of it.

We have started the year with a briefing-reception at the Danish Embassy that focused on introduction of the services and institutions of the embassy and the chamber. Overview, photos and presentations are available esp for those who couldn't make on that day.

Since the new year has started then we have also started with the membership renewals. Please find the membership applications here in Word or pdf files. All members are invited to renew their memberships, and new members are welcome to send in their membership applications. Need more info - contact me.

Visit Sampo Bank, January 28th
Date/ Place:
Jan 28th, 18:00-19:30, Narva mnt 11, Tallinn

Mr Aivar ReheCEO of Sampo Bank in Estonia, welcomes to a seminar on "Is the Economy Ascendant and How Far is the €uro?".
There are signs that the economy is picking up speed again. What are the signs to be recognized? Did we ever hit the bottom? What can we expect from 2010? Estonia is trying to do everything in these turbulent financial times to prepare for the possible enlargement of the € zone in 2011. There are several doubts and discussions on these topics. Is it only to elimininate the currency risk? What opinion does a person have who is managing one of the leading banks in Scandinavia?

Guest speaker, Mrs Irja Rae, board member of Fontes Palgakonsultatsioonid O to present the latest salary survey done in Estonia, including detailed information on payment schemes and levels used for more than 30.000 positions.
