Monthly YR General Meeting |
 The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:30 PM at The Jefferson Grill in Downtown Kirkwood, which is located at 125 West Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. The meetings are held in the private room to the left side of the restaurant. You are welcome to purchase food and/or drinks during the meeting.

Volunteers Needed for Golf Tournament |

 Majority Floor Leader Representative Tim Jones is looking for 4-5 people to help at a golf tournament on Monday, October 10, 2011. It starts at 8:00 AM, they need people to put prize packages together, assemble snack packs, and they especially need "drink cart operators". Volunteers will be well fed and get to visit with lots of state and local political leaders, lobbyists, etc. It's always a great time.
If we can get the 4-5 people to help out Majority Leader Tim Jones would be happy to make a $250 contribution to our organization.

Upcoming YR Concert Fundraisers |

 Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.

The Sugarland concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Friday, October 07, 2011. Call time is 5:30 PM and the gates open at 6:30 PM. You must be TIPS trained.
