The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 7:30 PM at The Jefferson Grill in Downtown Kirkwood, which is located at 125 West Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. The meetings are held in the private room to the left side of the restaurant. You are welcome to purchase food and/or drinks during the meeting.

Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.

Smart Girl Summit is the annual conference of Smart Girl Politics Action, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering conservative women. The goal of Smart Girl Summit is to offer top-notch activist training, while also bringing our attendees together with some of the country's leading conservative voices. Their attendees are mostly conservative women activists (and a few men!), some of whom are new to activism and many who are actively involved in tea party rallies, political campaigns and new media activism. This is a dynamic group of activists who are forming networks and making a difference in their communities. They are also wives, mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, neighbors and friends.
