Our July speaker will be Ann Wagner. Currently, Ann Wagner is running for US Congress in Missouri's 2nd District. Most recently, Ann Wagner served as the Chairman of Roy Blunt's successful U.S. Senate campaign in Missouri. Previously, Ann Wagner was the 19th U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg and served from August 1, 2005 until July 2009. Wagner is the Honorary Co-Chair of the American Freedom and Enterprise Foundation, a Missouri based non-profit organization promoting free market principles. Ann Wagner also was Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee for two terms.

The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 7:30 PM at The Jefferson Grill in Downtown Kirkwood, which is located at 125 West Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. The meetings are held in the private room to the left side of the restaurant. You are welcome to purchase food and/or drinks during the meeting.

Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.

The Mayhem concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Call time is 12:00 PM and the gates open at 1:00 PM. Early Shift is 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Late Shift is 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. You must be TIPS trained.
