Monthly YR General Meeting | |
Our June speaker will be Jim Gwinner. Mr. Gwinner has nearly two decades of experience in government affairs, marketing, lobbying and public relations management. Mr. Gwinner has worked with Fortune 500 companies, political campaigns, and candidate committees, as well as industry and not-for-profit associations. Mr. Gwinner is a U.S. Army veteran. He served as an MP and led detachments both at home and abroad.
The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, June 09, 2011 at 7:30 PM at Mike Duffy's Pub & Grill in Kirkwood, which is located at 124 West Jefferson Avenue, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. The meetings are held in the private room located in the back left corner of the dining room just past the bar.

Annual YRs vs. Pachyderms Softball Game | On Sunday, June 12, 2011, we will play the annual softball game against the Pachyderms. The game is at 1:00 PM at Kirkwood Park (Located at Adams Road & Geyer Road - 111 South Geyer Road; Kirkwood, Missouri 63122). Once again, the game is part of the annual Bonhomme Township Republican Club Picnic.

YR Night at the Cardinals Game | |
 The Saint Louis Young Republicans' night at the Cardinals game will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011. The game starts at 7:15 PM. We're sitting in the All-Inclusive Bank of America Club. Beer service begins at 5:45 PM and the Buffet begins at 6:15 PM. Ticket availability is limited, please register today.

TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) Training |  Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the clubs to make money.
In order to work at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for our fundraising efforts, you must be TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) trained (training is valid for three years). You only have to attend ONE of the possible training classes.
There is no RSVP for this; first come, first served. The classes fill up quickly and the class size is limited to 60, so be there early! No one will be allowed in once the class starts.

Class is outside so come dressed for the weather. |

2011 Young Republican National Convention | |
We need to get a headcount of those interested in being a delegate to the national convention in Puerto Rico next month by Wednesday. Even if you are still unsure, we need your information by Wednesday to get everyone credentialed. Please, e-mail us at info@stlouisyrs.com, ASAP.
The 2011 Young Republican National Convention will be held from Wednesday, July 6, 2011 through Sunday, July 10, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Registration Fees Schedule:
- $145 from May 1st to June 15th, 2011
- $165 from June 16th to July 5th, 2011
- $185 from July 6th to July 10th
All Registration check payments should be made payable and mailed to: YRNC 2011, Inc. Post Office Box 191372 San Juan, Puerto Rico 00919-1372.

Annual membership dues are only $25.00 per regular or associate member, or $40.00 per married couple, or $50.00 per sustaining member, $100.00+ for advisory board member, or $300+ for President's circle per calendar year.
