Monthly YR General Meeting |

Our April speaker will be Missouri State Representative Rick Stream (District 94) of Kirkwood. Representative Stream serves the Kirkwood and Des Peres areas of Saint Louis County. He was first elected to the House in November 2006. Representative Stream's full bio is available here.

The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 7:30 PM at The Jefferson Grill in Downtown Kirkwood, which is located at 125 West Jefferson Ave, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. The meetings are held in the private room. You are welcome to purchase food and/or drinks during the meeting.

TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) Training |
 Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the clubs to make money.
In order to work at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for our fundraising efforts, you must be TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) trained (training is valid for three years). You only have to attend ONE of the possible training classes.
Registration opens at 5:30 PM and the training starts at 6:30 PM. There is no RSVP for this; first come, first served. The classes fill up quickly and the class size is limited to 60, so be there early! No one will be allowed in once the class starts.

The 2011 Young Republican National Convention will be held from Wednesday, July 6, 2011 through Sunday, July 10, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Registration Fees Schedule:
- $145 from April 1st to April 15th, 2011
- $165 from April 16th to May 31st, 2011
- $185 from June 1st to June 30th, 2011
- $225 from July 1st to Convention

 Membership due support the operations of the organization and allow us to sponsor events and activities. Paying your 2011 dues will make you eligible for free or reduced prices on events and activities in 2011. You will also receive priority e-mail notification of upcoming events and activities.
Annual membership dues are only $25.00 per regular or associate member, or $40.00 per married couple, or $50.00 per sustaining member, $100.00+ for advisory board member, or $300+ for President's circle per calendar year.
You may pay your dues in person, by mail, or online.
