TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) Training |  Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the clubs to make money.
In order to work at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater for our fundraising efforts, you must be TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) trained (training is valid for three years). You only have to attend ONE of the possible training classes.
Registration opens at 5:30 PM and the training starts at 6:30 PM. There is no RSVP for this; first come, first served. The classes fill up quickly and the class size is limited to 60, so be there early! No one will be allowed in once the class starts.

Cardinals Game Day | | We are working on setting up a Saint Louis Young Republican day at Busch Stadium to watch a Cardinals game. We will offer a discount to all 2011 dues paid Saint Louis Young Republicans and guests are welcome to attend at cost. We would like to gauge interest in this activity. 2011 Young Republican National Convention | |
The 2011 Young Republican National Convention will be held from Wednesday, July 6, 2011 through Sunday, July 10, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Registration Fees Schedule:
- $165 from February 1st to March 31st, 2011
- $185 from April 1st to May 31st, 2011
- $205 from June 1st to June 30th, 2011
- $225 from July 1st to Convention

James W. Knowles III for Mayor of Ferguson
For the next two weekends, the James W. Knowles III for Mayor of Ferguson Campaign will be hanging literature on doors (NO KNOCKING!) starting at 12:00 NOON on Saturdays and 1:00 PM on Sundays.
Volunteers will be meeting at 747 Hudson Road, Ferguson, Missouri 63135. If you can't make it by the start time you can always catch up by calling James at (314) 452-2718.
The campaign will provide coolers with refreshments for the teams during the day and provide food and drinks afterwards.
Also, the election is April 5, 2011, anyone interested in helping out the day of the election is needed, the campaign has many "GOTV" calls to make.
