Greetings Fellow Young Republicans | |
Greetings!
We are now less than a month out from the November elections and the momentum for Republican candidates keeps getting stronger every day. Just recently, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee pulled their money and support for Robin Carnahan, signaling that they even realize her campaign is futile.
What many don't realize, is without that momentum at the top of the Democratic ticket, downticket races such as the County Executive race and Congressional races will also be affected, giving our GOP candidates in those races a big boost.
Take the opportunity to get out and help in these last few weeks to help get our candidates over the finish line. Be sure to RSVP for some of the great campaign and fun events coming up in the next week as well!

Monthly YR General Meeting | 
This month's speaker will be Mike DuBois, Legislative Assistant and District Director for Senator Kit Bond. Mike DuBois serves as Bond's legislative aid on national security, foreign policy, international trade and development issues in Washington DC. He has worked in the Senator Bond's office since 2001 and has been at the Saint Louis office since 2008.
The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Missouri GOP Victory 2010 Headquarters in Saint Louis, which is located at 10825 Watson Road, Suite 120, 63127. The office is located on Watson Road between Lindbergh and I-270, across Watson Road from Borders Books. A Map and directions are located here.

|  On Thursday, October 14, 2010 we will be making calls from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM for the Missouri GOP at thier office (10825 Watson Road, Suite 120, 63127). The office is located on Watson Road between Lindbergh and I-270, across Watson Road from Borders Books. You do not need to be there the entire time. Any time you are willing to donate would be greatly appreciated. |

YR Winery Bus Trip | |
 The YR Winery Bus Trip will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 11:00AM until 6:00PM. We will have roundtrip bus transportation from Chesterfield (100 Chesterfield Business Parkway, 63005) to several of Missouri's fine wineries including Sugar Creek Winery in Defiance, Montelle Winery, Mount Pleasant Winery, and Louis P. Balducci Vineyards in Augusta.
The cost of the bus is $20 for dues paid members and $35 for non-dues paid. Due to bus capacity, this event is limited to the first 24 registrants.

|  The YRs will be joining the Missouri Department of Conservation for a Day at the Range on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 4:30PM until 6:30PM at Jay Henges Range. We will have a short education session on guns and gun safety, and then we will shoot a variety of pistols, rifles, and shotguns.

The event is totally free but it is limited to the first 20 Dues Paid YRs (because of limitations of the range and staff).

Upcoming YR Sand Volleyball Games |
 The YRs have a team registered for the Sunday night coed recreational league at the Stratford Inn ( 800 South Highway Drive, Fenton, Missouri 63026). The league started on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Game times range from 4:00 PM-10:40 PM. Leagues are 9 weeks with the 9th week being a playoff where we may play more than one time that night. You do not have to commit to playing every week in order to participate.
Next Game: Sunday, October 17, 2010, 8:30 PM, Court 1. Please, email us ( info@stlouisyrs.com) if you are able to play this week. We need to know who will be participating in the game each week. The club has paid for the league so we are asking that you pay your 2010 calendar year dues of $25.00, if you would like to participate. You may pay your dues in person, by mail, or online.

Annual membership dues are $25.00 per regular or associate member, or $40.00 per married couple, or $50.00 per sustaining member, $100.00+ for advisory board member, or $300+ for President's circle per calendar year.
