Greetings!
We are coming to the close of the summer and our opportunities to raise money for YR events at Riverport is also coming to an end. We have several events planned for the fall, including a winery trip, another YR Day at the Shooting Range, and our Annual YR picnic. These events and others are funded in part by our efforts at Riverport, so take note of the few upcoming dates left and sign up to work with a booth with us!
Also, mark our upcoming events on your calendars. We have several fun activities coming up as well as many opportunities to help our fellow GOP candidates across the finish line this November.
I hope to see you Friday Night at Happy Hour, or at our booth at Riverport!

2010 Missouri YR State Convention |  There has been a change in the dates for the 2010 Missouri YR State Convention. The new dates are Friday, October 1, 2010 through Sunday, October 3, 2010, Saint Louis. More information and registration to follow soon. |
Upcoming YR Sand Volleyball Games |  The YRs have a team registered for the Sunday night coed recreational league at the Stratford Inn (800 South Highway Drive, Fenton, Missouri 63026). The league started on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Game times range from 4:00 PM-10:40 PM. Leagues are 9 weeks with the 9th week being a playoff where we may play more than one time that night. You do not have to commit to playing every week in order to participate.
Next Game: Playoffs, Sunday, August 29, 2010, 4:00PM, Court 2. All teams make the playoffs. The top four teams play for league champions. The bottom 8 teams will play another team with a similar record for one match. Be prepared to play all night.
Please, email us (info@stlouisyrs.com) if you are able to play this week. We need to know who will be participating in the game each week.
The club has paid for the league so we are asking that you pay your 2010 calendar year dues of $25.00, if you would like to participate. You may pay your dues in person, by mail, or online. The complete Sand Volleyball schedule and information is available here and has been posted to our calendar.

Upcoming YR Concert Fundraisers |  Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.
Budweiser Superfest - Thursday, August 26, 2010
The Budweiser Superfest concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Call time is 5:00 PM and the gates open at 6:00 PM.
Rascal Flats - Friday, August 27, 2010
The Rascal Flats concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Friday, August 27, 2010. Call time is 5:00 PM and the gates open at 6:00 PM.

- 6 concerts/shifts = Your 2011 Saint Louis County Lincoln-Reagan Days Dinner or your registration to the 2011 State YR Convention paid for
- 10 concerts/shifts = Your 2011 Saint Louis County Lincoln-Reagan Days dinner AND your registration to the 2011 State YR Convention paid for
Don't forget that any tips received during the concerts are divided among the volunteers so you can actually make a few bucks for your personal wallets! |

The Roy Blunt campaign will be holding a precinct captain training session on Tuesday, August 24, 8:00 PM at the Saint Louis Republican Headquarters

Annual membership dues are $25.00 per regular or associate member, or $40.00 per married couple, or $50.00 per sustaining member, $100.00+ for advisory board member, or $300+ for President's circle per calendar year.
