Greetings Fellow Young Republicans |
|
Well, it was a tough weekend for the Young Republicans, we suffered a tough lost against the pachyderms in our annual softball game during the Bonhomme Township picnic.
The Young Republican team fought hard, but it was our first softball game of the year and we were a little out of practice. But it was better to work our the rust in our game against the pachyderms than against the Young Democrats. We will need all of our best players then, so be sure to mark it on your calendar and at least come by to cheer us on and enjoy some drinks and BBQ.
Also, be sure to look at the upcoming dates for the working at Riverport to help raise money for the YRs, to help sponsor some of the events that we do. We have some great incentives to working, including a free YR T-shirt to wear at our YR sporting events. We will be emailing the new YR logo shortly! |

YR Fundraiser at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater |
Verizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.
