TIPS Training - One Last Session

Due to the large turnout at the last one, they decided to hold one more session. This one will be at TR Hughes Ballpark in St. Charles. Training will start at 6:30 PM, or whenever they run out of the 60 books they will have, whichever comes first. No RSVP, so please arrive early to get a spot in line! We can't guarantee any more sessions, so if you are not TIPS trained yet and think you may work a concert this summer for the Young Republicans, please be at this one.

Annual YRs vs. Pachyderms Softball Game
SoftballOn Sunday, June 6, we will play the annual softball game against the Pachyderms. The game is at 1:00 PM at Kirkwood Park (Located at Adams Road & Geyer Road). Once again, the game is part of the annual Bonhomme Township Republican Club picnic.
 
We need players to help defend our title. E-mail info@stlouisyrs.com if you are interested in playing.
 
Please, come help the YRs keep the Druckenmiller Cup with our club for another year.
Monthly YR General Meeting

The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 7:30 PM in the County Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Government Center, which is located at 41 South Central in Clayton, MO. A Map and directions are located here
 
As always, we suggest parking at the public lot (Free after 6:00PM) on the corner of South Central and Carondolet, across from the Buzz Westfall Memorial Justice Center. Enter the Government Center from the East side of the building (directly west of the public parking lot), go inside and continue up the escalators inside to the second floor. Young Republican Sand Volleyball
Stratford LogoThe YRs have a team registered for the Sunday night coed recreational league at the Stratford Inn (800 South Highway Drive, Fenton, Missouri 63026). The league starts on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Game times range from 4:00 PM-10:40 PM. Leagues are 9 weeks with the 9th week being a playoff where we may play more than one time that night.
 
The club has paid for the league so we are asking that you pay your 2010 calendar year dues of $25.00, if you would like to participate.
 
Please email us (info@stlouisyrs.com) if you are interested in playing. All interested members will be e-mailed the weekly schedule once available.
 
You do not have to commit to playing every game in order to participate.
YRs vs. YDs Softball Game and Barbeque
SoftballThe YRs vs. YDs Softball Game and Barbeque will be held at Tower Grove Park on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM. More information will be available soon.
YR Fundraiser at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
MoneyVerizon Wireless Amphitheater allows non-profit organizations to work concessions at their concerts for a percentage of the revenue. The Saint Charles Young Republicans have a contract there and will be staffing a booth (along with the Saint Louis Young Republicans) at every concert this season. We sell mostly beer, but we may also sell water and soda, depending on which concert. It's a great way for the club to make money.
 
Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas - Friday, June 4, 2010
The Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Friday, June 4. Call time is 5:00 PM and the gates open at 6:00 PM. Please, click here for Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas shift times and information.

The Pointfest concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater will be on Sunday, June 6. Call time is 9:00 AM and the gates open at 10:00 AM. Please, click here for Pointfest shift times and information.

2010 Young Republican Leadership Conference
James' SignatureThe 2010 YRLC will be held July 14th-18th in Washington, DC at the Liaison Capitol Hill.
 
The YRLC is the largest summer gathering of Young Republicans from across the country and provides a unique opportunity for YRs to meet with GOP senior party leadership and elected officials, learn from top strategists, and network with fellow Young Republicans.  Past speakers have included Speaker Newt Gingrich, Republican Leader John Boehner, and Former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie.
 
Register now before rates increase. The General Registration rate of $225 is available through June 30, 2010.  This includes entrance to all of the scheduled trainings, numerous receptions, and the Saturday YRNF Gala.  The registration fee also includes entrance to the YRNF Summer Board Meeting.  These rates will increase to $250 on July 1, 2010.  To register for the Young Republican Leadership Conference click here.
