Former United States Senator Jim Talent will be the speaker at the May Young Republican Meeting. He is currently working on multiple projects and will be speaking to us about National Security issues.

 

In October of 2009, Sen. Jim Talent launched the American Freedom and Enterprise Foundation, www.FreedomSolutions.org. An organization with a focus on fighting for the principles of enterprise and economic prosperity while rebuilding a consensus for the free market.  Ambassador Ann Wagner recently joined the Foundation as an Honorary Co-Chair. The Monthly General meeting will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 7:30 PM in the County Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Government Center, which is located at 41 South Central in Clayton, MO. A Map and directions are located here.  
 
As always, we suggest parking at the public lot (Free after 6:00PM) on the corner of South Central and Carondolet, across from the Buzz Westfall Memorial Justice Center. Enter the Government Center from the East side of the building (directly west of the public parking lot), go inside and continue up the escalators inside to the second floor.
