Saint Louis Young Republicans
Saint Louis Young Republicans
Greetings Fellow Young Republicans
Saint Louis Young RepublicansI hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend.  I took this opportunity to get started early on the 2010 campaign cycle by working for a local City Council candidate that is running for election in April.  When thinking about all of the political races going on this year and how they will affect you, don't forget the local City Council, School Board, and Fire District races going on in your community.  These races are very important and you will find that they have a HUGE impact on your taxes (Real Estate, Personal Property, and Sales Taxes)  Also remember, these races are what we in the party consider, "the Bullpen" and it is a great starting place for future GOP candidates that we may need in the future for higher offices!

Last week was a great week for the GOP as the party was able to avoid a primary and unify behind State Senate candidate John Lamping for the 24th Senatorial District.  Young Republican Dean Plocher has decided to sit this race out and focus on the future.  Look for Dean to be a great YR candidate for office in the very near future.  Also, don't forget to check out the Lamping for Senate Happy Hour which is coming up in a couple weeks.  John is hoping to have a great turn out from Young Republicans that may be interested in getting involved in his campaign this year!

Don't forget to check out the other upcoming events, especially the upcoming Lincoln-Reagan Days Dinner this weekend at the Viking, we need your response ASAP!  We hope to see you there!
