Architectural Metal Panels | Bank of Sonora-Boerne, TX Contractor: Whiting-Turner Construction
Dear ,
Recently, Whiting-Turner called Chism on a new, unique product. Architectural metals have emerged as a sun control device that also adds depth and texture to new and existing structures. Pictured above and below are exterior wire mesh panels (solar screens) newly installed at Bank of Sonora in Boerne, TX. These panels, made from woven stainless steel, allow 50% transparency providing sun control and energy reduction while maintaining the open design intent of the glass walls.
Architectural metals are a highly versatile and adaptable solution that are now covering parking garages, institutional entry ways and retail spaces.
The Chism Company was selected for this project based on its prior performance under Whiting-Turner throughout the construction of The Shops at La Cantera, Phases I and II(Click here for case study). Additionally, Chism Company staff called upon their long experience in metal fabrication to offer the customer a value engineered solution resulting in a savings of five figures.
