Imagine, the 9th weekly edition of WCSDE's Newsletter for Sarasota and Tampa Bay Area West Coast Swing Dancers! Already! Hard to believe I find so much to say...LOL :)
Thanks again to all of you who came to the 3rd Friday dance this past Friday (Nov 18) with Guest Instructors Renee Lipman & Tommy Gibbs, DJ Bobby Caudill, and our new all-night dance host and instructor for beginners...John Henning. It was another 3rd Friday with great food, great music and lots of dancing.
And we left for the November 19 Road Trip to 1st Danz in Ft. Myers directly following the dance...and what a great time we had ... the workshop, the dance and late night at Perkins...what a blast. Thanks so much to Cindy-Lee and all the Ft. Myers dancers for making us feel so welcome.

NOTE YOUR CALENDAR... West Coast Swing Wednesdays with Bobby Caudill at Sarasota Dance Club, 1646 10th Way, Sarasota, FL.
7:00 - 8:00pm Beginner Class includes WCS Basics Technique - This class is for everyone...those brand new to WCS and those wanting to continue perfecting their basics technique.
8:00 - 9:00pm Intermediate Class includes a new move or two (or three) based on the basic technique learned/ reviewed in the Beginner Class.
9:00 - 10:00pm (approximately) Dance a little and practice the moves you just learned and take advantage of the opportunity for some one-on-one help from Bobby and Donna.
Cost is $10 for one lesson or $16 for both lessons and the dance so come on out for West Coast Swing Wednesdays with Bobby Caudill. See you there! :) |

Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice - there are numerous locations in this area for West Coast Swing dancing pretty much any night of the week. Please send me an email if you are interested in joining us for an evening of WCS dancing in-town.

Sunday night: WCS Lesson/Dance with Renee & Tommy (Nov 29 only) at Magic Dance Club: 6pm FREE Beginner Class, 6:45pm Intermediate Class, Dance until 10pm. Cost $10 for Int Lesson/Dance or $8 dance only. Includes Bevs & Snacks.

1st Friday: WCS Lesson/Dance with Louis Schreiber at Sara Dance Studio: 7:30pm Lesson, 8:30pm Dance, Cost $15 each
2nd Saturday: WCS Dance with Bobby Caudill at Dance America Studio: 7:30pm Lesson, 8:30 pm Dance, Cost $10 each, includes Bevs & Snacks.
3rd Friday: WCSDE Monthly Dance with different Guest Instructors & DJs every month and Dinner Buffet: 7pm Lesson, 8pm Dinner/Dance. Cost $15 each. Includes Lesson, Dinner & Dance.
3rd Saturday: WCSDE Monthly Road Trip. Leaving after 3rd Friday dance from Sarasota Dance Club.
December 19 Road Trip: SWFSDS Membership Appreciation Party. This club has over 400 members. There will be (2) workshops with Bobby Caudill on Saturday and a lesson and dance party at night with DJ Bobby Caudill. Cost $15 members, $20 non-members.
4th Saturday: Floorplay Dance with Mark Traynor and Danielle Blouin at Magic Dance Studio: 7pm Lesson, 8pm Dance. Cost $12 each. Includes Lesson & Dance.

DIRECTIONS FROM FLORIDA'S TURNPIKE:
Take the SR-820 exit (number 49) - east towards Hollywood. Turn right onto Hollywood Blvd. (Pines Blvd., FL-820) east. Turn right onto South 62nd Ave. Turn right onto Washington Street at the traffic signal. Go to the end and the clubhouse is on the right. It backs up to the turnpike.
