We were honored to be a part of The Miles of Hope Community Walk for Breast Cancer, on September 27th at James Baird State Park in Pleasant Valley. There were over 300 walkers who participated including the Kirshon & Company Team. 
 
Thank you to those of you who donated and/or came out to walk in support of breast cancer awareness. The Kirshon Team was recognized for the most walkers as well as raising the largest team donations. It was a great success!

We are pleased to announce that Mohammad Farhad has joined the firm as a junior accountant.  Mr. Farhad is a December 2008 graduate from SUNY New Paltz and worked as the firm's intern while completing his accounting degree.  His duties will include accounting and tax services to small to mid-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations.  Mr. Farhad is currently pursuing his CPA license.

 

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer L. Goldman has joined the firm as a junior accountant.  Ms. Goldman  is a May 2009 Summa Cum Laude graduate from Marist College.  She has been the recipient of numerous academic achievement awards including the NYS Society of CPA's Outstanding Accounting Graduate of 2009 and the NYS Chancellors Award for Student Excellence.  Ms Goldman has interned for several organizations throughout the Hudson Valley.  Her duties will focus in the firm's fiduciary and small business client service area.  Ms. Goldman is currently pursuing her CPA license.
