State Bar Councilor Nominations 

Any member wishing to nominate a candidate for councilor must submit that nomination in writing to the President of the 26th Judicial District/Mecklenburg County Bar, Robert E. Harrington, at 438 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207 on or before September 28, 2012.


Swearing-In Volunteer Attorney Sponsors Needed

Volunteer sponsors are needed to present new attorneys for Bar admission at the MCB Fall Swearing-In Ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Hilton Charlotte Center City beginning at 4 p.m. To volunteer, contact Chris Hood at or 704/377-2500.


Future Bar & Foundation Center Committee Update 

On August 23, 2012, the MCB Board reviewed the input provided by Bar members and voted unanimously (excluding a judicial abstention) to approve the Greenway Business Center as the location for the future Bar & Foundation Center.

Advertise in the MCB Annual Directory
More than 5,000 MCB Directories are distributed annually. Each Bar member receives a Directory as part of their dues, and it is a year-round resource for attorneys, judges, paralegals, legal secretaries and office staff. Deadline: 9/28/12
