Robert E. Harrington Begins Term as 101st President Robert E. Harrington, of Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A., began his service as the 101st president of the Mecklenburg County Bar on July 1, 2012. He will serve a one-year term.
Courts' Corner: Judge Frank Whitney on Serving Our Courts, Serving Our Country Judge Frank Whitney joined the United States Army Reserve right out of college. When he was appointed a federal judge for the Western District of North Carolina, he continued to serve his country in the military. Last year the two jobs merged. Whitney became the first active federal judge to serve as a military judge in a theater of war; in this instance, in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Memorial Resolutions
The MCB Memorials Committee coordinates memorial services in open court for deceased members of the MCB. During each service, a memorial resolution is read by a family member, friend or colleague. Access those resolutions.
