Greetings!
Welcome to the first monthly newletter "Learning with Livescribe" written for educators in Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia to explore the powerful uses of the Pulse Smartpen. We know you will find the ideas of your colleagues valuable and informative each month so sit back, relax, and read on...

Teacher Feature
Trying to add music to your lessons and tired of flipping through CDs? Create a music page in your Livescribe notebook, write a short note about the type of music and record a snipit to be played back to your students during your lesson.

You can fill pages with links to various composers, artists or recorded instruction and play them by simply clicking on the text with your Pulse Smartpen. To play back the pen at a louder volume, purchase the universal 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female stereo headphone/speaker adapter to plug the pen into external speakers.

Are you heading to any valuable conferences or professional development opportunities this summer? Well don't forget to pack your Pulse Smartpen!

There is no better way to capture the information from a workshop than to write your notes with a linked recording of the session. When you return to your office, create a pencast, upload it to your free online storage account and share the link with your teachers.
