Greetings!

Welcome to Elaine and Scott Harris's VINO LAS VEGAS. This is a very special issue of VINO LAS VEGAS. Over the years we have never given an entire issue to one event. However after attending Bon Appetit's Vegas Uncork'd for the last two years we could not resist. With this years 3rd Vegas Uncork'd we can state in our opinion, Bon Appetit 's Vegas Uncork'd has taken its place among the premier Food and Wine events in the country if not the world. No other organization that we know of could have gotten all of this culinary talent in one place at one time. We would also like to announce the launching of TheCuisineist ! We have had many requests over the last year to produce a site that was primarily culinary in nature. After speaking with many chefs and others in the industry we have launched this new endeavor. There will naturally be some overlap as Food and Wine are partnered together in so many ways. TheCuisineist will offer recipes, cooking and cocktail making demonstrations as well as a well stocked culinary store for your gourmet food and kitchen needs. It will be very interactive to share recipes and other cooking hints and techniques with each other. We can also expect a Chef to stop by from time to time as a contributor. The Cuisineist will visit restaurants as well BUT will keep to the same standards of not being critics but talk about the over all experience.
