Nearly 200 Attend Contractor Open House Today at UIC Pavilion
 

CHICAGO, September 25, 2012 -Today, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) hosted its 11th Contractor Open House at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago. 

 

Nearly 200 people attended the event, which provided a unique opportunity for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and MBE/WBE firms to network and learn about bid package information for upcoming projects at O'Hare and Midway International Airports.

CDA officials presented details and answered questions about upcoming construction projects for the O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP), Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP) and professional services term contracts. Representatives from the City of Chicago Department of Procurement Services, Office of Risk Management and the Inspector General's Office also attended the event.

The CDA has hosted eleven Contractor Open House events since 2005.
