The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has issued a bid opportunity for the following: Installation of Centerline and Threshold Lights for Runway 4R/22L at Midway International Airport Specification Number: 107700 RFQ Number: 3998 Advertisement Date: Tuesday 5/29/2012 Description: Installation of new in-pavement centerline and threshold lights, runway guard lights and signs. The project includes electrical ductbanks and related structures, electrical cables and airfield lighting regulator installations. The scope includes a three inch bituminous milling and resurfacing of the center portion of the runway as well as underdrains and pavement markings.
