WTS 'Women in Aviation' Panel Discussion Features Chicago Department of Aviation Women Leaders

CHICAGO, May 23, 2012 - Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino today moderated a "Women in Aviation" panel discussion of CDA women leaders at a Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) Greater Chicago Chapter luncheon.

 

The panel, which discussed perspectives on working in the aviation industry, career paths, and challenges encountered along the way, included: Angela Manning, CDA Managing Deputy Commissioner, IT, HR and Customer Service; Tiffany Green, CDA Deputy Commissioner, Finance; Amy Malick, CDA Deputy Commissioner, Sustainability; and Tammy Chase, CDA Deputy Commissioner, Communications. Also discussed was the upcoming relaunch planned for this summer of the CDA's FlyChicago.com web site that will dramatically enhance the traveler experience; several of the ongoing sustainability programs at Chicago's airports; the CDA's public outreach efforts and fiscally prudent initiatives undertaken by the CDA.

 

The WTS event was co-hosted by Eileen Chin of R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. and Brenda Christopher of HNTB, and was also organized by Kristina Woodward of Ricondo & Associates.
