Local subcontractors network with representatives from the JV, Westfield and CDA during the morning session on May 15, 2012. |
The event drew attendees from an array of union trades. The morning and afternoon sessions were hosted by McHugh/Ornelas Joint Venture, which has been named general contractor for Westfield Concession Management's portion of the redevelopment of O'Hare International Terminal 5.
McHugh/Ornelas JV team members presented to attendees details on how the project will expand and renovate the existing concessions area in the International Terminal, including a relocation of the existing passenger security checkpoint.
The JV is looking for subcontractors in union trades, to include demolition; steel; doors and hardware; carpentry and plumbing, and others.
