Parking Access Revenue Control Technology
The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has issued a bid opportunity for the following: Parking Access Revenue Control Technology (PARCT) Specification Number: Specification No. 99248 Procurement type: Request for Proposal (RFP) Advertisement Date: Friday, April 27, 2012 Description: The Work consists of furnishing all means, methods, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and services for performing the General, Civil, and Electrical Work as described in the Technical Specifications, including all appurtenant work and accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City. This includes, but not limited to: - Comprehensive design of proposed PARCT to be reviewed and approved by CDA prior to Construction of demonstration PARCT system;
- Construction of demonstration PARCT to be reviewed and approved by CDA prior to the Construction of the new PARCT;
- Construction of the new PARCT; construction and/or renovation of physical, communications, electrical infrastructure as required to the construct and install the new PARCT system as detailed the approved PARCT comprehensive design;
The project site is located within the boundaries of the City of Chicago; encompassing of all parking lots, garage and all areas of interconnection within the Airport. The following is a list of the elements of the PARCT to be provided: - Entry Lane devices
- Exit Lane devices
- Central Host/Server
- Space Count System
- Parking Guidance System
- Valet System
- License Plate Recognition (LPR)
- License Plate Inventory (LPI)
- Credit Card In/Out
- Proximity Card (Prox Card)
- Recognition of CDA Badges
