The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has issued a bid opportunity for the following: Electronic Logging System for Chicago Midway International Airport Specification Number: 104075 Advertisement Date: Friday, March 23, 2012 Description: The Chicago Department of Aviation is seeking proposals for a qualified vendor to provide an Electronic Logging System ("ELS") to the Airside Operations Section at Midway International Airport. The ELS shall serve as an integrated documentation database system by which the Midway International Airport Operations Section shall store, manage, and disseminate, as applicable, all of the records required pursuant to 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 139. The ELS shall be the primary means by which CDA/Airfield Operations at Midway International Airport shall manage its critical Part 139 documentation, along with other data pertinent to the operation and maintenance of the airside of the airport. The ELS will consist of associated software and mobile computing capability that shall allow continuous, and flexible and real-time entry, along with storage and timely retrieval of information.
