Register Now for Thursday's Eno Transportation Conference
There is still time to sign up for the "Lessons Learned from the O'Hare Modernization Program" conference on Thursday, October 27, sponsored by the Eno Transportation Foundation. Click here to register. The one-day conference will be held at the Westin Chicago River North, 320 N. Dearborn St. A number of topics related to the O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP), an $8.6 billion modernization of O'Hare and one of the nation's largest current civil infrastructure projects, will be covered. Andolino, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), will provide welcome remarks and conduct a question and answer session with Lester Crown, Chairman of the Commercial Club of Chicago. Crown will discuss how his involvement with the OMP helped make it a reality. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has also been invited to speak at the day-long conference. Panel discussions at the event will focus on overcoming political barriers; working through construction and sustainability challenges; and lessons learned.
