Eno Transportation Conference Next Week to Focus on OMP

Registration is still open for the "Lessons Learned from the O'Hare Modernization Program", sponsored by the Eno Transportation Foundation.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 27, at the Westin Chicago River North, 320 N. Dearborn. A number of topics related to the O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP), a $8.6 billion modernization of O'Hare and one of the nation's largest current civil infrastructure projects, will be covered.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has been invited to speak at the daylong conference. Rosemarie S. Andolino, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), will provide welcome remarks and conduct a question and answer session with Lester Crown, Chairman of the Commercial Club of Chicago. Crown will discuss his involvement with and vision for the OMP, which helped make it a reality.

Panel discussions at the event will focus on overcoming political barriers; working through construction and sustainability challenges; and lessons learned. Tours of O'Hare International Airport will also be available.
