O'Hare and Midway Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

 

 

For the fourth straight year, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The CDA is showing its support for the campaign by displaying pink lights, ribbons and other related decorations at both O'Hare and Midway International Airports.

 

"On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the City of Chicago, the CDA is proud to bring attention to this important health issue," said CDA Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino. "We hope to further raise awareness about breast cancer research for the millions of visitors who will travel through O'Hare and Midway this month."

 

The CDA's participation supports the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation's "2011 Light the Way to Find a Cure" campaign.
