Rick Bayless to Sign Latest Book at 2011 Airports Going Green Conference
 

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) is pleased to announce that Rick Bayless, internationally acclaimed chef, television personality, restaurateur/airport concessionaire, award winning cook book author, and innovator in sustainable restaurant practices, will sign his latest book, Fiesta at Rick's: Fabulous Food for Great Times with Friends, on Tuesday, November 1 at the upcoming 4th Annual Airports Going Green Conference in Chicago.

Mr. Bayless promotes "living sustainability everyday" through his restaurant practices, by achieving LEED certification for his restaurant facilities, and through his Frontera Farmer Foundation, which is committed to promoting small, sustainable farms serving the Chicago area by providing them with capital development grants. Mr. Bayless has also brought his knowledge, experience, and commitment to sustainability to his recently developed airport concessions including Tortas Frontera at O'Hare International Airport Terminal 1.

  

The Airports Going Green conference is the aviation industry's leading sustainability forum, bringing sustainability leaders and innovators together from across the U.S. and around the world. Conference attendees will hear from airport CEOs and aviation sustainability experts as they present national and international airport case studies; airport and airline perspectives on sustainability programs, including case studies; successes and challenges; funding opportunities and lessons learned.
