On Thursday the group met with American Airlines officials, who gave an overview of American's global aviation strategy, its Chicago operations and an update on its fleet purchase plans. The group also met with CDA Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino, and enjoyed a tour of O'Hare's main FAA tower.

CDA officials on Friday provided the group with a welcome from CDA First Deputy Commissioner Michael Boland, followed by a presentation from CDA Chief Operating Officer Khaled Naja on the O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP) and sustainability initiatives at O'Hare; and an overview of O'Hare airfield operations from George Lyman, General Manager, Airfield Operations.

The group then received an airfield tour to see construction projects that are a part of the O'Hare Modernization Program.
