"Authentic Hong Kong" Photo Exhibit Featured at O'Hare
International travelers are being treated to a stunning new photo exhibit entitled "Authentic Hong Kong", sponsored by National Geographic and Cathay Pacific Airways, at O'Hare International Terminal 5. The exhibit includes 40 images taken by National Geographic photojournalist Catherine Karnow that depict a wide range of scenes from life in Hong Kong, China. The large-scale photos are displayed along the main corridor between Gates M12 to M19. The exhibit is accessible to ticketed passengers with departing flights from Terminal 5.
The exhibit is one in a series of events that commemorated the launch of Cathay Pacific's non-stop passenger service to Hong Kong from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, which began on September 1, 2011.

"We are pleased to have this captivating photo exhibit by a world-renowned photographer on display at O'Hare's International Terminal," said Chicago Department of Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino. "In addition to Cathay Pacific's new nonstop passenger service to Hong Kong, O'Hare passengers can now visually experience Hong Kong through these engaging images."
Catherine Karnow was born and raised in Hong Kong and has traveled the globe on assignment for National Geographic. Her vibrant images appear in books and publications worldwide.
The exhibit will be on display at O'Hare's International Terminal 5 through early 2012.
