Robert Morris University Students "Cook for a Cause" at O'Hare Fire Station

Earlier today, students from Robert Morris University (RM) visited O'Hare International Airport's Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Station #1 to serve a meal to Chicago Fire Department fire fighters. The students are members of RM Cooks for a Cause, a not-for-profit group devoted to helping, supporting and sponsoring groups that do good for society.

Seven RM students and an instructor from the Culinary Arts program prepared a three-course meal at the station for the fire fighters, which included Prime Rib, a vegetarian Ravioli entrée option and Crème Brulee for dessert.

"The Chicago Department of Aviation would like to thank 'RM Cooks for a Cause' for their generosity and thoughtfulness in providing a delicious meal to the hardworking CFD fire fighters who serve at O'Hare International Airport," said Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino.

The CFC is part of The Institute of Culinary Arts at RM's Chicago and DuPage branches. For more information about Cooks for a Cause, visit their Facebook page.
