Join this hands-on class for a fun evening of sushi making!
We will prepare a variety of sushi rolls including maki rolls, inside-out rolls, and inari sushi using vegetables, cooked seafood, and some raw seafood for the real sushi and sashimi enthusiasts. We will also discuss how to prepare sushi rice, and the proper way to eat sushi. You will leave this class with your own bamboo sushi mat for home sushi rolling!

Instructor Biography: A culinary adventurer, Chef Kathy Rana has traveled throughout the US, South America, Europe, and Asia, learning the varied techniques of regional and ethnic cuisines from master cooks and chefs. Chef Kathy started Madeline's Table personal chef service in 2004 out of a desire to bring real food to the busy families of central New Jersey. A culinary instructor for over 12 years, Kathy's goal is to help her students experience how easy it is to prepare great food while having fun with the creative process of cooking.

Get Your Creative Juices Flowing!
Making collages is a wonderful creative outlet and is amazingly therapeutic. Expressing your creativity helps keep you centered and balanced. In this workshop, you will use pictures and pieces of pictures cut from magazines, catalogs and brochures to express your feelings, desires and
ambitions. You will employ different formats and themes to construct one-of-a-kind pieces. Participants should bring old magazines, catalogs and calendars and a pair of scissors.
Instructor Biography: Donna Juzva is a success coach and empowerment speaker living and working in Central NJ. She offers coaching and guidance in many areas including setting and achieving goals, managing life transitions and attaining personal balance. Ms. Juzva offers presentations, workshops and seminars on metaphysical topics and personal achievement. They are designed to help reveal your hidden talents, and provide strategies to bring more joy into your life. Donna's mission centers around encouraging you to play an active role in creating the enriched and inspired life that you are meant to live.

Using the Art of Scrapbooking to Turn
Your Photos into Lasting Memories
Come learn how a simple scrapbook layout can work for so many themes. In this workshop, everyone will assemble a basic layout and use their own photos as well as various stamps and embellishments to make it unique. Please bring at least four (4) 4"X4" photos and one 4"X6" or 5"X7"photo of the same event. (Bring extra photos of the event just in case!) Theme suggestions: summer, 4th of July, birthdays, baseball, graduation, fireworks, Disney, carnivals, superstar, All-American, western.
