Fall Enrollment Jumps 19%
With growth in all student categories, enrollment set a new record this fall with 4,697 students. The number of contact hours in which students enrolled increased by 21 percent over last fall.

Dr. John Selmon, executive dean of Student Services at LMC explained that new and expanded academic programs, outreach efforts to all age groups, an economy driving more students to learn new skills and careers, and more have all contributed to the increase.  However, Selmon noted that at the foundation of the increase in enrollment is that the College has an outstanding faculty and staff providing excellent instruction and services dedicated to student success.
