Greetings!
As promised, we are proud to announce an expansion of our 'Boot
Camp' Circuit Exercise program. However, and because we're getting a lot of
questions about it, first we'd like to reiterate exactly what our version of a 'Boot
Camp' is all about:
It does not
consist of typical aerobics class movements.
You will not be performing jumping jacks, sprints, etc. Nor will you be performing any resistance
training exercises (i.e., squats, row) in a ballistic, dangerous fashion. Our goal is always to get you into better
physical shape, and this goal would be compromised by including movements that
may be damaging to your joints.
What you will do
is perform the exercises that most of you already know from your workouts with
either Craig or Adam, but move quicker than usual between stations as a result
of having 3 trainers and up to 4 other fellow trainees pushing you along. For example, starting the workout you may
perform a set on the chest press machine, and immediately move to the hallway
for a (long) set of walking lunges. Then
back into our studio for a set of abdominal crunches. Repeating a sequence of this nature four
times with different exercises during each cycle will find you training your
entire torso and hip/thigh area - not to mention heart and lungs - in a very
efficient workout.
And now on to our announcement:
Starting this week, we're adding a 2nd workout - Arms & Abs - to accompany the Torso & Thigh workout that has been
running for the past few weeks.
This new workout will take place on Saturdays, starting at
10:30AM. Class space is again limited to
just 5 people, so please continue to call or email to book your slot.
The addition of a 2nd workout also means a change
in pricing structure:
- $120
per month, 2 classes per week maximum. If you sign up on the 15th of the
month, you're paid through the 14th of the following month. So it's possible to take up to 9 boot camp
workouts per month while saving 33%.
If you choose to attend 2 classes per week, we're
going to strictly enforce that you attend one weeknight Torso & Thigh
class, and then add a Saturday Arms & Abs class.
Please pass along any questions or comments via phone, email, or in person. Thank you.
