 Hi, I was more physically active on vacation than usual - for instance horseback riding and salsa dancing!) AND, while MOSTLY eating the delicious fruits and veggies that abound in August, I DID EAT out more and had more of the stuff I don't usually eat - the usual suspects (cheese, coffee, ice-cream). That's OK on special occasions. If I didn't give in to the craving, what would have happened? - I would have thought about it ALL THE TIME until I hunted it down and ate or drank much more of it than I would if I just enjoyed a small taste.
I'm cherishing the love I felt on my family vacation, and the sweetness of that love really left me feeling perfectly satisfied with not over-indulging. Upon returning to my abundant and tasty healthy diet this week I did drop the couple of extra pounds in 4 days.
Beginning of August I was at my second Integrative Nutrition conference in Costa Rica. At the first one in March, I filmed my colleagues, holistic health practitioners and would like to share their stories and expertise with you.
