The holiday season is always one of excitement and anticipation. Children and adults are looking forward to what is to come. During December at Athens Academy, many special activities and service projects are planned to celebrate the season. These holidays, and the feelings they engender, transcend any boundaries of religion, and unite us all in a common feeling of affection for one another. The Robots are on the Loose!
Athens Academy is excited to host Northeast Georgia's first robotics tournament on Saturday, December 10 at 9:00 a.m. in the Harrison Performance Hall. Fourteen teams from Atlanta and Athens will join the Middle School Sparbots to compete in the FIRST Lego League's "Food Factor" event. Come out and see the robots in action-it's fun for all ages.
