Relationship

Welcome back for the 2011-2012 school year.  I hope your first eight days of school have been as satisfying as mine.  One of the greatest pleasures of my job is the variety of experiences I enjoy each day.  From opening car doors in the morning at 7:40, to speaking at Middle School Chapel, to sitting in on a Pre-Calculus class in Upper School, to walking the balance beam with three and four year olds on the new playground at the Harrison Center, the experiences I have each day are both varied and exciting.  Perhaps the most enjoyable, though, is witnessing relationship develop among students and between students and faculty.  It is the development of relationship that allows Athens Academy to deliver on its mission for each student.     Read More...
