Athens Academy Opens  

Center for the Arts & Preschool

Athens Academy is pleased to announce the opening of the new R. Harold Harrison Center for the Arts & Preschool, with a dedication ceremony held on Thursday, August 11, 2011. Nestled in a beautiful oak forest on the school's 150-acre campus, the 46,000 sq. ft. building houses state-of-the-art spaces designed for education in the visual and performing arts and facilities for Preschool learning and exploration.  

 

Construction of the building, which was proposed as a strategic initiative of the school's Long-Range Plan in 2006, allows for enhanced arts facilities for both students and the local community and for expansion in the Preschool and Lower School divisions.  Read More....
