As I watched the runners cross the finish line this past weekend at both the Spartan 5K and the Spartan Sprint, I was reminded of the necessity for preparation for whatever challenge we are faced with. Have a Creepy, Crawly, Slimy Good Time
at Science Night!
Join us next Thursday for the third annual Pre/Lower School Family Science Night. We'll have a variety of fun, educational stations and activities designed by the State Botanical Garden to teach children about the environment. Don't miss the puppet shows! This free event for PS/LS Academy families will be held on Thursday, February 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Barrett Hall.

Art on Display at Athens Academy
The Myers and Bertelsmann Galleries will be full of rich and vibrant artwork during the upcoming shows opening
February 21.
Landscape artists Greg Benson, Robert Clements, and Joe Ruiz will display their paintings in the Myers Gallery of the Science & Art Building. In the Bertelsmann Gallery, the Comic Arts Show will include displays from artists Eleanor Davis and Drew Weing, Robert Brown, David Mack, Joey Weiser, and others.
An Artists' Reception will be held on Friday, March 4, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Myers Gallery.
