A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR AT ATHENS ACADEMY

 

 A survey by the National Association of Independent Schools listed common characteristics of healthy schools.  Reading this list, I felt uplifted and inspired, proud of Athens Academy, and privileged to be working here.  Those common characteristics are:

  •  A visible mission is understood by all
  •  A sense of community pervades
  •  Individuals of all ages respect and value one another
  •  Learning is going on for students and faculty alike   
  •  Parents are involved

The Augusta Symphony Soloists with Pianist Ana Flávia Frazão

The second performance in this year's Guest Artist Series will be Monday, January 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Presentation Hall. featuring the Augusta Symphony Soloists with  Ana Flávia Frazão on piano.  It's a "Romantic Evening of Chamber Music" with works by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Edmundo Villani Cortes.  Tickets are $2/students and $10/adults.
