 Relay for Life
Athens Academy has a long tradition of supporting Relay for
Life in Clarke and Oconee
Counties. Students, faculty, and families participate
in and raise money to help fund research through the American Cancer
Society. On Friday, May 14, Athens Academy
will have two teams participating in this year's relay at the new track
facility at the Athens YMCA. The Middle
School and Upper School teams have been busy planning
activities to raise money for this important cause. In fact, the teams have raised over $100,000

Middle School Book Fair
The annual Middle School Summer Reading Book Fair will be
held in the Middle School from Friday, May 21 - Thursday, May 27. The
Book Fair is an opportunity to browse the choice book titles for grades 6-8 and
purchase books so that your student won't waste a minute getting
started on summer reading!
Summer reading lists are available on the
Athens Academy website. You will also receive a form with the book prices so that you can make purchasing decisions ahead of time. Books can be purchased by check
made out to Athens Academy, or charged to your Athens Academy
