Doyle foils Hawks

Knights dominate, move to 7-1

A.J. Doyle '12 threw for 127-yards and rushed for 76 yards to give CM its first victory over Xaverian in nearly a decade. The 33-11 win was the seventh consecutive for the team.

Next week, Doyle and his teammates hope for another first in their high school careers: a pumpkin trophy on Thanksgiving Day.

Knights fans also witnessed a stunning performance by Armani Reeves '12, who set the pace of the game with a 92-yard TD run in the first quarter.  Doyle's connections to Brandon Hamel '12 and David Berment '12 produced three more touchdowns and Doyle finished the Hawks off with a 12-yd. rush in the fourth.

With the win over Xaverian, CM faces the possibility of postseason play - but first, there's the Thanksgiving Day game. Kickoff is scheduled for next Thursday at 10:30am.
