Seniors still hear Haiti's call for help
In the coming weeks, Frank Theodat '11 and his classmates will continue to heed the call for those still in need in Haiti, one year after the earthquake, particularly children.
 | | Frank Theodat '11 (left) with Brendan Shea '11 and Mr. Malionek at a planning meeting. |
Calling his Senior Service project the "Called to Service Initiative," Theodat began planning his project long in advance of the earthquake's anniversary. Brainstorming ways he could help and get others in the school community to help, Theodat focused on a supply drive, which he and his classmates will organize in the coming weeks.
Gathering school supplies for two particular elementary schools in Haiti - one nearest the epicenter formed since the earthquake and one in the countryside - the students are calling upon every CM student to take part in the reconstruction of Haiti. Read more...

Saving stamps on 1,500 college applications
Each year, 150 seniors apply to an average of ten colleges and universities. In their wake over the years has been a paper and postage trail that has likely felled forests of good timber. Ryan Dumont '11 became the first senior in school history to submit all of his college application materials through the guidance department online.
