Welcome New Members & Membership Drive Recognition!
Thank you very much to all the HBRA members who helped us out with the "Gambling for Members Membership Drive" in May!
The drive ended up being very successful with the recruitment of 34 new members. Click Here to see all the new members.
Team "No Pane" were the big winners! This team included: Patty Geraghty, Portland Glass; John Olson, Beacon Wealth Management; Annie Small & George Richard, Safeguard Business Systems of VT & NH. Each team member received a $62.50 check from the HBRA as a thank you.
Patty Geraghty (Portland Glass) was our top recruiter this year. She recruited four new members for a total of 16 points. Hot on her heels were Mark Groleau and Chris LeBlanc with 15 points. Our top recruiter for 2010 - Rick Fournier also helped with the drive. Patty received an additional $250 as reward for being our top recruiter. Congrats Patty!!

LAKE CHAMPLAIN BYWAY PORTALET SHELTERS, SBVT07 (001)
The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) seeks qualification submittals from professional Contractors or individuals experienced in the construction of small buildings. The project involves the use of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds and is subject to various federal rules and procedures as administered by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VAOT) and which will be detailed in the Invitation to Bid.
Project description: The project consists of construction of two (2), identical 12' x 16' ft. portalet shelters on properties adjacent to U.S. Route 2, one in South Hero and one in Grand Isle. The structures will each house two portable toilets and also serve as a location to provide information to travelers about the Lake Champlain Byway. No electrical or water service is required nor insulation or drywall. The structures consist of cedar wood siding on pressure treated wood framing with a standing seam metal roof, composite wood flooring, and solar powered battery operated lighting.
