Broad Horizons is committed to helping women live their best lives and realize their wildest dreams through travelling the world. Since 2005, we've taken you to destinations delivering some amazing life changing experiences, sampled delicious exotic foods, shared endless laughs as together we've cultivated new treasured friendships and created precious memories. This issue we want to share with you - where we've been and where we're going!
Susan Pearson, founder of Broad Horizons, launched the first tour to Northern Ireland & Dublin in May 2005. What a great time the gals had which encouraged Susan to replicate the women's only experience in Scotland in May 2006. By popular demand, the ladies were asking Susan "Where are we going to next?" As you can see we've been to some pretty impressive countries and have experienced really unique events.
"Together we've dined at the top of the Eiffel Tower, glided along the Grand Canal by Gondola, marvelled at the sun set from Santorini, and the sunrise from Machu Picchu...these are just a few of the many lifelong memories we've created."
This May, we will be returning to Ireland where the Magic of Broad Horizons was born - what a reunion this will be for some of our returning guests and for those joining our tour for the first time, this is sure to be a fun filled girls only getaway!
In August we've chartered our own vessel to get up close with nature in the Galápagos Islands! Have your camera ready, as we delve into the mysterious isles that inspired Charles Darwin's "Theory of Evolution". Encounter Humboldt penguins, giant tortoises, land and sea iguanas, blue footed boobies, fur seals and much more. This educational expedition is sure to touch the heart of any nature lover.
This September we are returning to Kenya for an unforgettable African Safari as we explore some of the country's best game parks and visit with local tribes and inspirational local women and children for what is sure to be a trip of a lifetime!
Our BH team is finalizing the details for our return to Italy in September, visiting Venice, Tuscany and Rome - September 15 - 26, 2012 - Soon appearing on our website. The tour will blend country roads, idyllic villages and historic cities.
In October we will journey to the Jewels of Eastern Europe Budapest, Vienna and Prague. With an emphasis on Classical Music, Imperial History and breathtaking beauty this tour is sure to please our discerning ladies.
BH Exploration leader Bonnie Hinschberger will travel with the ladies on an epic adventure to uncover the rich traditions of Vietnam & Cambodia . This popular departure has limited availability as we are happy to report there are are only 3 seats left on this small group departure!
In early December, Broad Horizons will explore the magic of the German Christmas Markets, a delightful cultural tradition that has existed for over 300 years. This is sure to be a festive journey not to be missed!
